Necessary upgrade for Q 10 (for me)

If you like “chunky thocc” and aren’t into “click” this is a great upgrade. It’s also A LOT easier on the fingers if you’re typing all day. For real, I’ve cut off 2 fingertips in kitchen accidents and I REALLY notice how a keyboard feels at the end of the keystroke. Anything over an 45 ng switch feels heavy and can hurt- the aluminum board felt like I was throwing karate punches at a punching board. Switching to the acrylic made a big difference, though the keyboard certainly doesn’t feel soft with it- I’d say it’s accommodating. If you’re wondering, the emergency room did glue my fingertips back on, but they’re still sensitive.

Also, that center board is about 12 ounces. This makes a BIG difference in weight. I no longer feel like I’m competing in strong man when trying to move my keyboard (I’m serious. It’s solid). Install it with the sound foam and you won’t regret it.

PC Plate

PC (Polycarbonate) plate is the most flexible, if you like to type for a long time and like to have a flexible keyboard, PC plate will be your best choice.
