How To Design Your Own Camo Switch

One of the fun things about mechanical keyboards is getting to build your very own experience, that's why we developed the Camo switch series to give you the power to mix, match, and build your own linear switch.

Now we'll cover the necessary components to assemble your own switch.

Pick Out the Components

There are 12 different combinations of the Camo switches allowing you to customize the bottom-out weight and appearance. Below are all the components that you’ll need.

Top Case and Stem

The Keychron Camo series offers four Top Case and Stem colorways: green, light green, camel, and wheat. The stem is made of self-lubricating POM material and the Top Case is made of premium nylon material.

Bottom Case

The Keychron Camo Switch Bottom Case is made of nylon and available in the forest, light green, and wheat colorways. It's compatible with all Keychron keyboards that use normal profile MX mechanical switches (not compatible with optical switches and low profile keyboards). The 3-Pin Camo switch is compatible with any 3-Pin/5-Pin MX mechanical keyboard on the market with SMD-LED or RGB-SMD light.

Spring

The premium-quality gold-plated spring comes with various bottom-out weights to enable you to customize the typing force.

Switch Lubricant (Optional)

If you want a smoother keystroke and better sound, you can try lubing these Camo Switch components with the Keychron Klube Lubricant (Switch Lube).
